The Land Of The Far Away

May 8, 2024

Dear Father I lost you,

And then came the Far Away,

A time unknown
A place foregone.

In this new world,
I could not grieve.

My story was playing
But it was just a reprieve

Horizon was lost,
Fortunes were tossed.

With the every day
Came again the far away

I ran and ran,
From all but mostly from my self

Thinking I was coming home,
But never more alone

Busy with nothings,
My truth had been lost,

Sharp pains
Screaming out to the night
Father has been stolen,
Now eternity will never be free

Time passed and still no answer came,
The veil of silence
Life’s biggest shame

This was the land of the far away.

Release!
It barely spoke,
Now listening with intent

The beloved soul cannot go
Till within you peace unfolds

Blame no one for no one is to blame,
Acceptance is it’s name

Mysterious gestures guided
When I finally dared look above.

With trepidation.
Heart trembling but open.

Expecting more thunder
Clouds were asunder

Sure of nothing and everything,
I edged past the mystery and the ceiling of the unknown

Reaching with my heart

To make peace with the foregone
Courage in my hands,
Willing to risk my Life
Above the clouds in the infinite sky,
Stood the absolute light beaming down on me.
One father had gone
The other had come.

A splendid sun
