The Pagoda is an allegorical novel of the coming of age of a young man in intemporal Japan. Steeped in tradition, he embarks on a journey through the Forest of Self. He battles with events in his life but mostly with his inner demons that are preventing him from an aligned existence. Arriving at the mystical Pagoda he is welcomed by his spiritual guide the enigmatic Lord shogun.
He understands that even though he has mastered his body through elite martial skills,he remains a novice in the harnessing of his inner power and that of his rampant mind.

With mystic poems being revealed to him , sketches with meanings to be discovered and inner exercises the Pagoda is not so much a novel but a guide that will accompany the reader throughout his life in search of the truth of his own personal reality.
