As a “Child of the stars” as he used to be called, Ayub from his earliest age was melded between the Visible and the Invisible. A truly spiritual being undergoing a human experience. The forests of the Swiss countryside were the playground of his youth. On visits to his Himalayan land of origin , amidst the peaks and the healing flowers he was cradled by the soft intonations of the mystics. Intimations of the divine.
From a very early age he felt the Presence of forms, and his uncanny ability to hyper concentrate made for unique games he used to play. One of them would be to grow his entourage’s heads to great sizes smiling at the atypical expressions on their faces.
The sparkle in his eyes emanated an obvious connection to the mystic wave of life. Stars abound and the beauty of existence was never far away. A near death experience occurred when he was just seven. He “died to live.”This event, where he accepted to leave peacefully in the depth of a deep stream after a calculated struggle bestowed upon him a calm that was as deep as the same water that almost took him away. He was saved in extremis from this near certain drowning giving him a new lease on life. This occurrence brought him very close to his paternal grand aunt, a shaman of the pashtun tribal tradition that nursed him back ever so softly back to the earthly plane. Bibi Rana” the lady of light” never married for she had been betrothed to the celestial had always recognised in Ayub a being that had been brought to Earth for a simple purpose. That of receiving and transmitting magnetic divine energy through gifts of presence, writings and speech. Recognising her time was limited on the Earthly sphere she transmitted her considerable light and wisdom to the young boy with the urging to “ Carry the Spirit forward…” This was a confirmation to Ayub throughout his life as he excelled in the oral and written spiritual tradition.
Society’s decree, and his own understanding that this ancient wisdom could only be shared fully, when the ethereal and the practical blend harmoniously together. This is When sky meets earth. Mystic Wisdom in everyday existence.
Ayub became one of the most prominent financiers of his day by developing unique relationships with like minded individuals in a form of conscious capitalism.
However the urgings of the Himalaya were constant within him. After the demise of his father and mother his Soul needed to be even more aligned with his purpose of enrapturing people to their own awakening from mankind’s robotic, collective psyche. In this period mystic poems were revealed that imprinted verses on the walls of his heart. His performances were transcendental and Everyone in attendance felt a shift within themselves in the dynamic of their own Soul alignment as their lives became more and more truly experienced.
Ayubs creativity was now guided beyond himself, and the allegorical novel the Pagoda came into being. A guide including art, poetry and practices of the Within all relative to life.
